An amazing story of a group of Green Berets backed up by the Peshmerger or the Kurdish freedom fighters in Nothern Iraq in 2003. Amazing how these brave warriors were able to knock out tanks and amored personal carriers with their AT-4 missles. A great read how they fought on for days from armed jeeps with some tragedy of a freindly fire incident. An amazing story of a group of Green Berets backed up by the Peshmerger or the Kurdish freedom fighters in Nothern Iraq in 2003. You may not agree with his politics and I couldn't help but admire his inner strength and extreme toughness to endure years in the Hanoi Hilton as a POW of the cruel and brutal NVA. Highly Recommended!!

I was expecting more from author Mark Bowden and I agree with the previous reader's comments. I hope this is the last book written about the end of that coward born with a silver spoon in his mouth sending uneducated young men from the Muslim world into Iraq and Afghanistan for a quick meaningless death just to further Al Queda's primitive goals while Osama hid out watching his stash of porno movies found in his hideout. I don't understand how Al Queda can be comfortable killing considerably more innocent Muslims compared to coalition soldiers in their strategy. A real dedicated Muslim who used his 15 year old latest Wife as a human shield against the Seals. - Ya right.I was expecting more from author Mark Bowden and I agree with the previous reader's comments. Another awesome book by Marcus Luttrel and the service and dedication these brave warriors go through to keep our freedoms free should be more appreciated by all the whiners we have in the West. Thank GOD we have people willing to serve and fight off these coward uneducated fanatics. My favorite part was the sotry of retired Elite Sniper Chris Kyle and two black hoodlums who attempted to car jack his truck at a gas station each armed with hand guns. He calmly reahed in to get them the keys and pulled out his weapon from his under the shoulder holster and gave each thug two double taps in the forehead with his back turned. Not even a trial and talk about picking the wrong guy and Kyle has probably killed more people than any serial killer.
Bravo and highly recommended.Another awesome book by Marcus Luttrel and the service and dedication these brave warriors go through to keep our freedoms free should be more appreciated by all the whiners we have in the West. Thank GOD we have people willing to serve and fight…
