This is an absolutely fantastic urban fantasy series! The entire series is WONDERFUL! Jenks, the pixie, is hilarious! Vamps, witches, demons, fairies and humans all living in a world after the Turn. This is one of my absolute favorite…

Rachel was most annoying and thank golly I stuck it out and read a few more in the series. She and I grew into becoming a happy character and reader.

Urban Fantasy. "It takes a witch to catch a witch," explains Rachel Morgan, who users her talents to apprehend unlicensed magic practitioners in the supernatural part of Cincinnati known as the Hollows. Fed up with the thankless, dead-end…

I have loved ALL of Kim's Hollows books & would recommend any whom want alternative Supernatural Fantasy with only a light dollop (in comparison to say Sherrilyn Kenyon's novels, another great Supernatural Fantasy/ Romance writer in my…

Slow beginning to an outstanding series. Glad I stuck with it. Jenks is a fantastic character, and I'm glad to follow him through the series.

I actually quite enjoyed this book. I absolutely loved Jenks and I cannot wait to keep on reading the series. Oh, BTW, Jenks is 4 inches tall not 6 and this book is not meant to be "thought provoking," it's meant to be entertaning. And…

Read lots of these urban fantsy series & this one was just average. It tries too hard to be funny but is just mildly amusing in places. Thank goodness for the Jenks character, he's the best thing in it. More suitable as teen literature…

I was embarassed to be reading a book where a 6-inch pixie is one of the main characters! And then the brief appearance of a leprochaun and small fairies. Felt rather juvenile to me. I prefer Karen Marie Moning's big, hunky fairies...thank…

Once I figured out some of the slang, I was suprised how much I enjoyed this book. The characters are suprisingly well-drawn for the first novel in a new series, especially my new favorite—Jenks. I hope to see more of him in the books to…

In my opinion, the best Urban Fantasty writer these days is Kim Harrison. I put her ahead of Charlaine Harris and Jeanine Frost simply because unlike those two (respectively) Kim starts her series with tons of details entailing her…

Kim Harrison weaves a story with plenty of humor, magic, adventure, and steam to delight any reader. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next book in the series.

This is a marvelous series by Kim Harrison starting with Dead Witch Walking. The series stars Rachel Morgan and ex-I.S. runner (think F.B.I. for the paranormal) set in a world that has wiped out many humans and introduced all paranormal…

Rachel Morgan is my favorite kind of heroine, strong, sassy and independent. This book is a great mystery and a fun ride along the way.

How can you not love a book where paranormal society was outed because of Ketchup, pizza and other tomato-based products? Kim Harrison's Hallows series features Rachel Morgan, earth witch and private investigator. Alongside Ivy, a…
