An entertaining book because Le Carre always writes well. But, unfortunately, this book's narrative was oh so predictable because everyone needs fall guys...

I found this very good. I always read the book prior to seeing a movie based on a book and in this case, I was very happy to have done so. Did not enjoy the dvd at all, so much is missing that we had in the book details.

Le Carre never fails to entertain and educate. Despite his advancing age he is still a master story teller, and this is well worth the read.

Fantastic. I read it in 4 days. The book definitely 'captures the zeitgeist' (from the review on the jacket). The master gets inside the good shepherds' scheming like nobody else.

I don't usually read this type of fiction, but I read a review and it sounded interesting. It's mostly about the insecurity and paranoia of european police institutions with muslim immigrants who they suspect to be "funding terrorism".…
