"Three Days of the Condor" is one of those standout movies that never seem to get out of your head. Whether you are watching Robert Redford at his peak, or Faye Dunaway at hers and enjoying those moments when they are on screen, the whole…

One of the great early spy thrillers. So great to see the young Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway and Max con Sydow. Brilliant for its day and it has aged well. Great ending.

What is going on with this movie? I had to wait several months to receive the DVD. The library has four DVDs of this movie. Right after I picked it up, I learned that six people are waiting for it. Why? This is not THAT good of a movie…

Was nice to see this movie again with Pollack, Redford, Dunaway and many others.

Another in the ‘Government Conspiracy / Paranoia’ series of films from the mid-’70s, this one directed by Sidney Lumet. A good thriller, but it could do with more narrative to flesh out the details of what’s happening. Quiet, but arresting.

It's so strange to me how much of this movie is just scenes of people talking and planning, rather than an endless parade of fights and chases-- but it's so riveting anyway! Great direction and acting, plus a fantastic, funky score from…

"It would happen this way: you may be walking, maybe the first sunny day of the spring, and a car will slow beside you, and a door will open, and someone you may know—maybe even trust—will get out of the car, and he will smile a becoming…

Great story line, but it was Max Von Sydow who turned an average film into a great movie.

This is a tense, engaging and entertaining film that continues to impress. The story, directing, and especially the acting by Robert Redford, Fay Dunaway and a strong supporting cast combine to make this film outstanding and memorable.…

Another “oldie” that didn’t disappoint! Old school spy story, good acting and development. Today’s Hollywood should go back to school of filming and economics.....😂😂😂

Love a movie, or book, that leads you down untrodden paths where you don't know where true North is or if you're lost with no place to run or hide. Both Redford and Dunaway are at the top of their game with no one knowing who can be…

One of my all-time favorites and arguably the best spy intrigue movie is Three Days of the Condor. Directed by the incomparable Sydney Pollack, based on the James Grady novel, the movie highlights the dysfunction in government bureaucracy…

I loved it from start to finish. It moves fast, is very gripping, and it's never boring. It really opened up my awareness of the world around me in the 70's. Besides, it's got Max Von Sydow, and he never disappoints me.

Based on a spy thriller, directed by Sydney Pollack, starring Faye Dunaway (Golden Globe nom) , Robert Redford, Max Von Sydow, Cliff Robertson, and John Houseman - with all these assets, it would have to be a royal screw-up to be bad. It…

A very nice and concisely scripted movie [Lorenzo Semple, Jr. and David Rayfiel], as topical today as it was back then. Dunaway and Redford played off quite nicely against each other, and the whiney Robertson was perfect as the spook! …

A paranoid conspiracy thriller from the 1970's starring Robert Redford. After the Watergate scandal which caused Richard Nixon to resign from office for wiretapping and illegal break-ins, Hollywood produced a slew of these movies to…

Not my favorite Redford or Pollack film. Way too much cheesy music to make the plot feel serious. Von Sydow was wonderful as usual and the premise was certainly relevant even now. But the romance was under ridiculous circumstances. I'd…

One of the great paranoid thrillers of the 70s with great performances by Redford, Dunaway, Max Von Sydow, and Cliff Robertson. The new "Captain America" referenced this film, but you can also detect its influence in the "Bourne" series…
