Well acted, both informative and entertaining. A step toward treating animals with the respect and kindness they are owed.

an inspiring movie to watch, she was determined to follow her dreams in helping the cattle in how it would work better and she didn't let anyone stop her from doing what she thought was right and that would truly help... a must watch…

Great movie & tribute to the amazing Temple Grandin. Extremely well written, acted & directed. See the real Grandin interviews on Google that will really make you empathetic & think about teaching + learning for "disabled" people & all…

I followed up on the internet and Temple Grandin, she makes a lot of sense. Listen to her talk and learn about autism from an autistic point of view. If a child can't learn with one method, try another.

A compelling story of an autistic child and her success as an adult. The semi documentary movie makes you realize how psychological and medical knowledge advanced as well as the role of serendipity in life. The right right choice by…

Very good film with Claire Danes playing Temple Gradin, an autistic professor, author, scientist. You learn a little about autism; in the early 1960s Gradin was diagnosed with infantile schizophrenia. She didn’t speak until she was 4…

Claire Danes does a stellar job portraying the brave and inspiring and autistic, Temple Grandin in this true story based on a few important years in her life.

Brilliant! With the explosion in the number of autism in children today -- this is truly an epidemic that bodes poorly for the next generation. In 1966, 1 in 2500 kids were classified as autistic. In 2000, this climbed to 1 in 150. …

Claire Danes is brilliant in this biography film about the most famous person with autism. Temple Grandin is now a professor, author, and public speaker; but life growing up with autism in the 1950’s was exceptionally hard. This HBO film…

One question.... WHY was this not up for an Academy Award? Best script, best actor; a contender for both categories. I have heard of the woman, I believe, but not the movie. What a shock when an imaginative and intriguing tale unfolded…

I had to watch Temple Grandin in Religion class. I expected this movie to be some boring documentary film that I wouldn’t understand and to be honest, I totally expected to fall asleep during the movie. After all, when you’re watching a…

Wonderful story - SO well done. Kudos to everyone in the movie - Especially Claire Danes, Julia Ormond and Catherine O'Hara - David Strathairn totally outdid himself. Don't miss this movie.

Fabulous movie! Anybody with adult sensibilities will enjoy this film. It is a true story about a very interesting real person, with no car chases, explosions, gun fire, or CGI special effects fighting each other.

Why Claire Danes didn't get an Oscar for best actress for her performance here is a mystery. Actually, the portrayal of all the main, and a lot of the minor, characters was very convincing. Amazing, true story, and a great movie for the…

Coincidentally picked this up last week during Autism awareness week. I had no idea who she was, but she is brilliant and gives a voice to everyone, not just those with Autism.

This is a really wonderful film and story. It is shameful that movie studios seem to have lost their ability to tell meaningful and moving stories like Temple Grandin's life. HBO did a great job on this film. Highly recommended!
