A semi-autobiographical account of growing up Asian-american, and finding your place in the ever-changing world of a growing kid. Grace Lin usually aims for the more fantastic, but settles nicely on an episodic jaunt through childhood.

This book was not my type of book.It was a quick read and was very poor in catching the readers mind. I would not reccomend this book for anybody to read but you might want to try it because you never know.... you may like it.

Grace Lin is a Taiwanese-American girl (the only asian girl in her school) and this story is about her life during the year of the dog and what happens to her. Perfect if you feel just like her. I loved it!!!
