Great story, very inspiring. Too much swearing, slang and heavy accent, hard to understand.

Billy Elliot is a great movie. But I wish there was less swearing in it cause I think there kids out there who would like. But if you are a parent who does not like there kid to watch a movie with swearing then I would don't get this movie. But don't get me wrong Ilike this movie.

I have a friend at school who was in this show and he is at mindtech and right now he is grade eight.right now.

The US cut DVD is rated PG in Canada & PG13 in the USA. I mention this because someone said it was an R rated film. It's not.

I really liked this story, it was sad and heartwarming. I only wish that it didn't have so much swearing in it because it would be a good family movie. The musical is out now and lots of families are going but I wouldn't want my kids to see this "R" rated movie because of the language even though it was a good story. The music was great.

Loved the music, the passion and the energy of this film. Has all the requirements to stand alongside Britain's best in terms of characters, setting and storyline.

Billy goes through a hard time of his life, trying to prove to his dad he's born to be a dancer. The boy finally auditions for a dance school academy and the whole family awaits for the results impatiently.
