This is the first installment of the two books--the other is K & K & family. Again, this is a book about homosexuality, therefore, not a theme for young children. I agree with ecrl that it should be in the Adult area of libraries so parents can decide if they want their children to read.

The "suitable mate" for the prince ends up being another male. The problem is not the book exactly, but that it is located in the Children area of libraries! The book theme is homosexuality, therefore not adequate for the consumption of children. Put the book where it belongs, the Adult area, and let parents decide if it is appropriate for their children.

I cannot believe a book on homosexuality is in a children's department. Let PARENTS decide when, what to tell their children

A beautifully normalizing book. Being gay is not a tragedy in this book, just a fact of life. Pictures are stunning.
