Every hike in this book is a gem, and Sinclair shares a depth of the experience you can expect on the trail that few hiking books do. That said - she's a little light on details that factor into picking a hike. Elevation gain is one example. Also, her directions to a couple of the trail heads are less than clear. So, get yourself a good Forest Service map (you should have one, anyway;) and you're good to go!
