I really liked this book. I read it for my Book Club and I really enjoyed reading about Oy and Liliandra. I definitley reccomend this book for different cultures such as Chinese, Thai, Japanese, African... the list goes on.

Oy and her family just moved from Thailand and Oy isn't enjoying it. Her classmates tease her for being a different culture. Until Liliandra, the popular girl, finds a picture of Oy in her special Thai dress. Liliandra's friends think she looks like a princess! Liliandra will let Oy into her club if she lets her try on the Thai dress. Oy is torn, but she wants to belong so much...
