It shows a lot about living in a hard way. REALITY for a lot of people! Loved this book :)

I've read both the books in this series, and i love them both! It's good to know that there aren't only books out there about the glamourous life, but of reality! This series has good lessons and definately worth reading!!

Begging for change is a book about Raspberry H. who grows up poor, hungry, and homeless. Throughout the past couple of months her mother has been in the hospital due to a head injury. While Raspberry is now to look after herself she starts stealing money from her friends. After a while she was able to land a job doing housework.While getting her life back together her drug addicted father re-appears back into her life. With the re-appearance of her father, Raspberry is dealing with alot. Her mother finally comes out of the hospital. Once again the the father disappears. She is left alone to fend for her and her mother. Without enough money to support the two of them Raspberry return to her old habit stealing from Zora purse. When Zora confronts her she tells a lie to her mom and Dr.Mitchelle(Zora's father nd her moms boyfriend.) While walking around in guilt her father comes back again cleaned and drug free. Raspberry then decides to tell the truth and compassion for money.
