This is a humerous read about the life of an eleven-year-old girl named Winnie. During this time in her life, she is experiencing difficult friendships. This book has a wonderful ending because she realizes who her true friends are. I reccomend this book to any girl looking for a light, relatable novel.
THIS IS THE COMMENT FOR THE NEXT BOOK "TWELVE" : woah, TWELVE has alot of innapropiate things, but it is still REALLY fun to read. But there are some bad words like h*** or s** and bo*bs and skinny-diving. it may sound weird and innaporpiate skinny diving but every knows girls just want to have fun. I'm 10 and I hope one day at an all girls summer camp, i can go skinny diving maybe when im 12 or 13 but definielty not now. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MALES. IT CONTAINS THE WORDS S*X, HEL*, SEX*, B*OBS AND SKINNY DIVING. JUST BE WARNED
a very good and funny humored book i liked every second of it was cute an interesting to see how much winnie began to learn about herself i loved how she never judged others an accepted them for who they are as a person.

I'm 47 and I liked this book. It is well written and has surprising depth. It's like Judy Blume for a new generation. I'm planning to read the rest of the series.
