Do fortune cookies really tell the future? A family is out to dinner and finish their meal with fortune cookies. Through a fortune, the young narrator learns to see the world in a different way and also sees each of her family's fortunes also coming true. Wonderful story with wonderful illustrations. Book also as a short section at the end of the book explaing a history of the fortune cookie.
