This book is incredibly helpful and good- one of the very best writing books!

This book is more helpful in my opinion than most how-to-write books because it focuses on simple things that will improve your writing without telling you what you should write, and it provides lots of good examples of what good writing looks like. Be warned: great writing is not as easy as it looks.
