Opinion

From Library Staff

Nikki Sixx, co-founder of the rock group Motley Crue, spiraled out of control in a haze of heroin and cocaine at the height of his band’s fame. Here he pulls out diary entries and anecdotes from friends and associates that detail his descent and his decision to pick himself up and get help.

Avoid this book. there are better rock and roll autobiographies out there. this is really poorly done.

This was an amazing book. It helped me more than words can actually explain.

Talk about living on the edge! This true story is not for the faint of heart.
The Heroin Diaries is an unforgettable look inside the turbulent life of rock star, Nikki Sixx. Told with intelligence, grit and brutal honesty, this graphic diary will have you hooked from the beginning.

Very artistically bound. Informative and an entertaining read.
However, it is very graphic and most certianly for adults.

I think this is the best autobiography I have ever read. Usually I have a hard time believing everything but he had lots of people writing notes throughout the book so it was believable. Great idea.
