From Library Staff

I first watched this while home sick from school in the 5th grade. It made me laugh then and it makes me laugh now, though I have it all memorized. It is my chicken soup for the soul.

One of my all time favorite comedies. Great cast, great story, great performances, and soooo quote worthy.

It injects laughter into the "dark and stormy night" cliche.

A wonderful cast with some comic genius's flounder under a terrible director! The script isn't great either but with a different person at the helm, it could've been shaped into a camp cult like classic. Instead, there are pauses, bad editing and an awful soundtrack. I was hoping for a 'Murder By Death' type of result. I could only get through about 1/3 of the movie before I turned it off. What a dud and it had to have been difficult for that cast to make it work, wasted opportunities right and left.

An entertaining movie from beginning to end. It was so much fun to watch and what an interesting premise to base it on a classic board game.

Awesome Movie I loved it so much! Mrs. Peacok is so funny! This is one of my most favorite films!

As far as I know, this is the only film in history that was originally released with 3 different endings. Ingenious gimmick!

Clue is a very memorable film. It has great lines and beautifully comedic moments. The idea of creating an entire feature length movie based upon a board game is pure genius. It also has a cast to die for: Tim Curry, Eileen Brennan, Martin Mull, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Lesley Ann Warren, and Michael McKean. And the ending(s) are pretty amusing. Clue is also a movie that can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages.

Col. Mustard: "To make a long story short--"
Everyone else: "Too late!"
