Cora Abernathy calls on Poirot to investigate her brother's death, but his work is interrupted when Cora herself is murdered in After the Funeral. Mr. Shaitana, a wealthy but mysterious Londoner, invites Poirot and others to an evening of dinner and bridge, but the affair turns deadly when the host is found dead in Cards on the Table.

It's one more of a series that has no bad episodes. Suchet is always great as the fussy little genius, and the period look and feel is impeccable, and so is the supporting cast.

They changed the story quite a bit from the book
