Very creative thinking... making a serial killer into almost a hero... at least for some. Very good plot. Bottom line, it's a killer show !!!...

I was afraid that the combination of Dexter’s inner monologue and flashbacks would give away too much of the plot. But, there are enough unknowns to keep me guessing and interested in the series.

Great blend of his personal and work life. He is a serial killer with a heart! Can't wait to see the other seasons.

I've given this tv show only one star. Why? Because of the amount of profanity. I often wonder why perfectly good shows must include cursing ad infinitum. It doesn't add anything to the show. Because of this - I am removing this tv series from my "must see" list.

I am completely hooked on this series and bummed that it's ending now that I am so hooked! Great characters (and actors who portray them) and stories.

A great primer for sexually-frightened teenagers looking for an excuse to become slasher vigilantes, and then later to move on to managing drone killings of people that have been demonized. Theme of addicted, but self-righteous, murderers is a perversion of better characters and plots, such as in Wire in the Blood.

This was a thrilling, fast-paced series that deserves no less than a perfect 5 star review. Nothing bad about it. Simply amazing.

As I have been waiting to watch season seven, I decided to re-watch season one. Although I've enjoyed all of the seasons, this is by far the best one, as it delves more into Dexter's origin story.

Discovered this show has so many fanatic fans, I had to try the first two episodes on Amazon Prime. Got hooked, every episode is a superbly crafted jewel of suspense and mystery. Prepare to discover things about yourself, and about human nature as you watch. Warning: this series can be addicting, and I have found myself drenched in a cold tense sweat several times whilst watching the first two seasons. On to season 3.

I'm hooked. Love the premise, the writing, the cast -- all but one. Dexter's perma-grinning girlfriend Rita. Her constant clingy helplessness grew irritating. Everyone else is a perfect fit. Spunky sister Debra; hardass ex-military Sgt. Doakes; well dressed Angel; Masuka the horndog; sexy Lt. LaGuerta... But above all Michael C. Hall. Genuinely likeable serial killer/forensic specialist in blood spatter analysis (lol). The noir-ish voiceover of his thoughts just really works well to add to the darkness/suspense. I'm totally addicted. On to season two. FIVE STARS.
