Privileged Kyle messes with the wrong girl and ends up transformed into a beast.

I read this a long time ago I thought it was amazing I read it about 5 times

This book was really awesome. I originally thought that it would just be another common spin off of Beauty and the Beast but it wasn't! Flinn did an awesome job of taking the story line and developing it further. It was also great to read from the Beast's point of view. This is definitely a book that should be on everyone's "To Read List."

I think this book was really good. I couldn't put the book down I would hide the book on my lap at the dinner table just so I could read. I REALLY ENJOYED IT <3 !!

The book was okay. It did not have a lot of depth in it. The ending was a bit rushed and the story was kind of short.

Again, stop comparing every teenage, fantasy, romantic novel to twilight. Such comparisons have no place here. Beastly is an easy read, but it seems to be mostly a gimmick. Nothing profound came of a modernized retelling of the original story except with some little quirks here and there. His teacher being blind, he has a rose garden, "Belle's" dad is a drug addict and she lives impoverished. I feel as if there could've been something more done with this story, but it seems the author did it for kicks.

I was a beast.
I stared into the mirror. I was an animal-not quite wolf or bear or gorilla or dog, but some horrible species that walked upright, that was almost human, yet not. Fangs grew from my mouth, my fingers were clawed, and hair grew from every pore. I, who'd looked down on people with zits or halitosis, was a monster. (47)
