Overwhelmingly controversial, troubling issues encircle the overarching theme of a whole education needs to be acquired through examining several resources and honest, open communication. Ben is too good to be true and more mature than the the wisest of fictional characters. However I truly love the author's incorporation of fantastic literature and nonfiction reads like Lies My Teacher Told Me interpretted through Ben's astute eyes. The theme is so sound but the surrounding plot details are so frightful that many young readers will and almost should be deterred.

Found the story somewhat unbelievable, so much so that I did not bother finishing....
