All alone at the edge of the woods, he starts to cry. He cries and cries -- but he is still lost. And so he rubs his nose and tries to think. . . . With warmth, humor, and faith in the power of pluck, Phyllis Root quietly captures a big, defining moment in the world of a small child.

Add a CommentWhat a delightful book! The illustrations are beautiful, the story was so sweet, and it was enjoyable reading this book out loud. My two year old squealed delightedly at each progressively louder roar.
My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story line is very simple since it's necessary for young child. It's sweet and the illustration is wonderful.
