Excellent book,I don't really enjoy books on history but this one is very interesting and a page turner!

I loved this book! The preface states how everything in this book is true. This book blends great story-telling with real history. It's almost like reading a very good documentary.

You don't have to be a big history buff to like this. I'm not, and I really enjoyed this. My husband loves history and we listened to this on a road trip and greatly enjoyed it.

Even though you know how it ends, it's still a great read!

An American History neophyte, I owe my newfound Abraham Lincoln obsession to this incredibly engaging piece of non-fiction. Based on Swanson’s work for adults, Manhunt: the 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer, this young adult work details the almost unbelievable events surrounding Lincoln’s assassination. This is the perfect choice for any reader who likes history but can do without the extraneous details found in some historical tomes.
