Grab your towel and hope for a signal.

Arthur Dent is introduced to the galaxy at large when he is rescued by an alien friend seconds before Earth's destruction, and so begins a wild series of humorous adventures. This omnibus edition has the entire knee-slapping series.

Were I to get stranded in outer space with my choice of one book to read, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy would be my choice.

This book is incredibly funny, if a little screwy. The humor is of a strange variety and I can definitely see some finding it very weird, but I found it to be a great read. Just don't think too deeply into how it all makes sense, because it doesn't.

A wonderful book. Halaiously funny. I recommend it to everyone!
