Great for those little ones afraid to fall asleep at night/dark. My daughter likes the book so I purchased a copy through a scholastic school magazine for $5 and comes with a scaredy squirrel finger puppet.
The part I liked about the book was when scaredy squirrel made a map with weird stuff on it and the part I hated was when raccoons were in his front yard.
Humourous look at a squirrel that's afraid to fall asleep, risking having a bad dream. Scaredy Squirrel has a plan to face his bad dreams. When it backfires, he realizes that they were all in his imagination. Lots of illustrative details, fun for kids.
Scaredy squirrel was a boring book because all he was doing was spying on people.I wouldn't recommend it to anybody because he didn't do anything exciting.
Scaredy already had established himself firmly in my heart in the first three books, but when he takes up scrapbooking in the wee hours of the night, my love for him grew even more!
Love this squirrel!
HIlarious!
