One hates to break the news but vampires were in vogue way before the recent avalanche of novels, movies and TV series. Moonlight, the Complete Series, just adds to an already long list of vampire stories and series. As far as the storyline and special effects Moonlight rates above average for the genre. The private eye angle (working mostly at night) was similar to the TV series Forever Knight where Nick Knight worked as a police detective. In Moonlight Mick St. John has a love interest with a reporter for BuzzWire, an internet news organization, as well as a love/hate relationship with his maker Coraline Duvall. On the job Mick uses his unique abilities to help solve his cases as well as ferret out rogue vampires and human scumbags.

This show only lasted one season, but what a great season! It even ended with a bit of hope instead of leaving things on a total cliff hanger. I have watched this show 2 times and it is completely addicting, Mick St. John is great and so are the other characters. Love it.

Awesome series. I really enjoyed it. This series can stand side by side with Vampire Diaries. (Mick St. John) is cool and entertaining to watch. I enjoy the suspense of watching him and Beth.

A great show ahead of it's time. I'm sure if they brought it back now that vampires are all the rage it could easily hold its own against True Blood and Vampire Diaries. A great cast of interesting characters (Joseph was our family favourite).

This is a good series. Mick St. John
is now on Hawaii 5 '0'.

This does not have the gore and perversion that you find in many of
today's vamp movies or tv dramas (e.g., True Blood). And the chemistry between the vampire and his mortal love is nicely developed and fun to watch unfold.

It is a great show, I would have loved for it to continue. Once I started watching it I couldn't stop, I had to keep watching episode after episode. And Mick St. John is definitely hot!

I love this show! I really wish they would have continued it into another season. They made it right before vampires started becoming the cool thing. If they would have made it a couple years later, it would have done a lot better. But, I still love watching it. And Mick St. John is hot!!
