I loved this book, although I usually read thicker and harder novels, this one was throughly enjoyable no matter what age, reading level, or genre prefferance you are. My top favourite.

Novel includes folktales. Rated 4 stars. Author writes other similar books that are highly rated.

Fans of fantasy, rejoice! This is a beautifully told tale of family, love, honour and friendship. Folktales are cleverly interspersed throughout the book, reinforcing the morals of the story.

Excellent children's book, one of the best I have read in a while. Folktales are seamlessly woven into the novel, and the book holds a very important message. I'm considering buying it, and I usually dont buy books.
