As I am a fan of road movies, this is enjoyable in its understated plausibility.

I would have to say that at the end of watching this film I felt that it left a lot to be desired. Granted, it is an alright road movie, and it gave me an understanding on how hard life can be for people like Wendy...who make stupid choices along the way. The dog, Lucy is adorable though. This film is okay but it's nothing spectacular. In fact, it is slow-paced so that might be a major turn-off for some people. Generally, slow-paced movies are a sleeper for me but this one kept my interest to the end.
