A stunning psychological thriller with alot of suspense and an inexhaustable amount of mystery!

Overdone. Entertaining but needlessly overboard with messy mind games and plot complexity.

Creepy and atmospheric. I had read the book, I knew the ending and I was still spellbound. Leonardo DiCaprio is great to watch.

A very good movie with a great ending. Keeps you guessing the whole time.

This DVD was unable to watch due to a glitch on the front side of the dvd. It seemed like a piece of the dvd had been ripped up and it prevented it from playing. Too bad because this movie was a very suspenseful movie to watch.

Although it gives us some clues, “Shutter Island” is a creative story that keeps us guessing until the very end. The film certainly has a talented cast; I was particularly impressed with Ruffalo’s performance. The only shortcoming that I could mention is that the movie seems a bit long and tends to drag at times.

A very interesting movie, but it is VERY intense. I recommend this to 16 and older, depending on the audience. Very intense, but a great movie, nonetheless.

I love this movie, keeps you interested the whole time. Not for daydreamers who sleep during the movie and try to understand what's going on later.

Martin Scorcese channels David Lynch with limited success. The performances are fine but the movie just couldn't quite swing the agility and cleverness needed to make the story work. It felt like a confused mess at the last third. Performances are fine and the cast great, but a near miss is a miss nonetheless. I would say Michelle Williams is wasted in what amounts to a cameo performance.
