A very sweet book about a zookeeper and the animals who love him.

Illustrations were incredible and reminded me of some of the classic picture books from the 50s and 60s in their style.

Delightful book.

Erin E. Stead, a first-time illustrator, won the 2011 Caldecott Medal for A Sick Day for Amos McGee.
