This is a really wonderful film and story. It is shameful that movie studios seem to have lost their ability to tell meaningful and moving stories like Temple Grandin's life. HBO did a great job on this film. Highly recommended!

Interesting look at the life of a woman who challenged both her autism and the male–dominated world of cattle ranching. Great to see the special features, where Temple Grandin herself talks about her involvement in the making of the film. Claire Danes did an awesome job of playing the role, and really captured the essence of the real Temple Grandin.

This is quite an interesting film, although that said, I think that fifteen copies of this movie is just a bit too excessive.

Temple cast her pearls of wisdom before many a rancher swine before her heavenly insights changed the cattle industry and inspired the masses. Claire Danes is phenomenal as the autistic woman. Julia Ormond's portrayal of Temple's mom brought tears to my eyes. She nailed the role and is equally as good as Claire.

I know little about autism & found this bio rewarding in all ways. It's awful to be 'different' from peers & worse not being able to comprehend the world about one. What a remarkable history & the few adults who know what to look for & help along such people. Highly recommended!

After viewing this wonderful film I recommend checking out "Animal Odd Couples" which features the real Temple Grandin.

What a great movie about a truly heroic woman. This needs to be made mandatory for all who work with Autistic children/adults. I have worked with the children and found they always had something to teach me. This movie also opened my eyes to what Autism is like. A++ for all the effort put into it. Wonderful to hear what Temple herself had to say.
