Gave up after the first disc and a half. While the photography, scenery and slow-motion action sequences were spectacular, the stories are uninspiring.

of course it is not the book series - it was never meant to be. Still, certainly Season 1, a great show worth watching!

I miss this show, it was going places and it was soooo very good.

I am just about done watching the second season of this show. HUGE disappointement after reading all of the books, even though for those you have to get past the spelling errors on every other page... but good books. If you like the show, try reading the books. There is so much more to the story than whats in this TV series.

this movie series is the best ive ever seen!!!

Most addicting Show in the owrld!!! Loved it! :D

If you liked the book "Wizard's First Rule" you will like this show but remember that it is based on the book not by the book. I found that the only thing that was really like the book were the names of most of the people and places. The screen writers and directors took a lot of creative license with this show, in that regard it was a let down since the book was so good.

Wizard’s First Rule: people will believe a lie because they want to believe it’s true, or because they are afraid it might be true.
