Exuberant, richly detailed, brilliantly imagined. If you enjoy poetry and magical realism, this book is for you.

I am really loving the poetry of this novel, quite unlike anything I've read before. I'm not sure which Doyle loves more - the texture and tumble of words or the place about which he is writing. Either way, this is a rich and satisfying read.
