A vampire, a ghost, and a werewolf walk into a bar. Well, not a bar but they move into a home together and try to live a "normal" life. It's poignant, creepy, and funny.

A ghost, a werewolf, and a vampire try to live a "normal" life together. What could be better than that?!

I didn't know I would love this show so much, when I first checked it out. But Oh My Gosh it's great!

Plot twists at every corner.

Plus a super sexy vampire named Mitchell. You should watch this if you are into the supernatural.

I am disappointed. I requested this DVD because I love the British television show "Being Human". When I brought the set home I realized that despite the description here, it is actually the American version in this catalog.

I watched the first season of the American adaptation to this first and now having watched both I'm convinced that the BBC version is much superior. It starts slowly but by episodes 3 and 4 I'm confident you'll be sucked in. Some very good questions raised in a very good way. A nice normal household of a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire. It's well balanced the humor, the horror and the questions. Worth a watch.

Season one of Being Human is a science fiction drama with some humor as well. The three main characters are Annie the ghost, George the werewolf and Mitchell the vampire. They live together in a house in Bristol England that is owned by the former boyfriend of Annie. George and Mitchell work as porters at a local hospital while Annie mostly stays at home. All three tend to deny their true identities and live like humans as much as possible. This state of affairs leads to both grave and funny situations.

I ate all six episodes in one gulp. And I still can't say why I like this show; I don't like George, never did, Annie's so perky, and Mitch is really not that nice is he?

An above average horror/monster tv show where the monsters are the main characters. Dramatic and funny. Decent stories and some action. Mostly revolves around the drama of them trying to figure out how to lead a "normal" life. This is a brittish show but I think there is an american remake. I was entertained.

I didn't watch this until after I saw the American version, and I have to say as per usual the UK version is much better. The characters in this are a lot of fun and it keeps the interesting storyline moving with great scripting and impressive acting. I would recommend this to fans of science fiction type dramas as well as fans of the horror genre.

After watching the first episode of the American version on TV, I decided to borrow this DVD. This is the original British series, btw. I found it a bit slow at the beginning, but it quickly sucked me in (groan-inducing pun intended :D ) The relationships between the characters really do make the show. I found the main characters' struggles with becoming a part of humanity interesting and moving. This series is not scary at all, but that is not a flaw. I not-so-patiently await the next season.

A vampire who wants to stop feeding on human blood , a werewolf who is gentle and cries and awful lot ( at appropriate times) and a bubbly , smiling femal ghost who doesn't want to go through her 'door' . They all want to try and live together as humanly as possible , but it just isn't that easy!
