The doctor is in!

Doc Martin is charming, hilarious, serious and amazing!

Doc Ellingham is one of the most interesting characters to come along for a while! Watch as Martin struggles with blood phobia, while tangling with the prickly, gossipy, but loveable residents of Portwenn.

Will pick up at Parkgate Saturday. Thank you,

If you like the british shows but want a more relaxed and light hearted version give this a go. It's written quite well and of course Martin Clunes as always tackles this role with not only amazing humor, but a softness that is refreshing. It's fun but not silly, it's lighthearted, but not intellectually insulting.

Doc Martin DVD ([Series 1.] Discs 1 & 2) It is oh so very easy to fall in love with this show. The setting is somewhere along the coast of Cornwall (think sunshine, not overcast and rain); some of the characters are somewhat “off” (think Mr .Large the plumber or the Doc’ receptionists); some are somewhat implausible (think the forest ranger or even the local constable) and some seem to be quite well grounded (think Martin’s aunt or Louisa). And yet when you place all of them on the stage that is this little town of Portwhenn, it all seems to work out for the very much better. This series follows in a long tradition of English telly shows. I’m sure you’ll recognize them all when you watch Doc Martin.

This program requires full attention to the screen to get the absolute all out of it. Amazing writing and acting, especially Martin Clunes. And you can't view it just once and see everything that is going on. Complex, funny, and addictive! A triumph of English telly.

Brilliantly funny. Eccentric Brits in sleepy seaside village meet high-powered surgeon with unfortunate case of haemophobia.

I love the Doc Martin series. Very humourous, nice stories, quirky characters. And I love the music.

Wow, I love this very much. Only good things, you see. I find myself British for an hour afterward.
