This movie is all about the romance and nothing about the science fiction. If you can accept that premise and perhaps suspend a little belief for ninety minutes (surely not much to ask?) then the rewards are remarkable. If it still doesn't work for you, try watching with a woman for a whole new perspective.

Although an intriguing idea, this film just came across as futile and a little creepy. "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" was a little better but I'd recommend the more hopeful "About Time" over either of those.

A nice movie to put faces to the characters, (he's much better looking than I originally pictured him!) but the book was better. (no surprises there!)

Is it possible to unborrow a DVD? Well, I suppose you could use this movie as a drinking game: every time there is a vasectomy reversal / time travel incident ...

spoiler alert...i discuss the whole movie......I love this movie, have seen it multiple times, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a romantic drama with the added twist of time travel. All relationships have stress and this one is no different, the stress (time travel) is out of the ordinary but what really matters is their deep love for each other. The idea that he can even come back and visit, after his own death made the bitter sweet ending a little easier to endure. Well cast, well acted, and overall a very well done movie.

A wonderful movie! Not entirely true to the book (but what movie is), if you watch the special features though it does a remarkable job explaining what changes or differences there are and why. Can't say enough about it. It really was a fantastic movie and did much justice to the book.

something is not right there, It doesn't make any feeling. I think something in the story is missing. What is his goal as a time traveler?

The movie is great with the thoughtful actors, director and producer. Can't believe a time travel story can be told in one and a half hour and impress viewers! After watching the movie, remember to take a look at the special feature, in which the people talk about how they make the movie and how they respect the writer of the book.

A somewaht entertaining movie. However; the film does not always make sense, even given the fact of time traveling being possible. It is however a light hearted film filled with life's ups and downs.

Henry DeTamble: I never wanted to have anything in my life that I couldn't stand losing. But it's too late for that. It's not because you're beautiful and smart. I don't feel alone anymore. Will you marry me?
Clare Abshire: No. I didn't mean that. I just wanted to try it, to say it, to assert my own sense of free will, but my free will wants you.
Henry DeTamble: So it's a yes?
Clare Abshire: Yes, of course.
