Begin with Chapter 7: Toolbox. The stage has been set, especially with the final section of the previous chapter on The Human Dimension. Then read the book, read it together with this author's film The Human Scale. Now imagine Edmonton and Calgary moving in a better direction!

Lots of photos and case studies, but too many platitudes and generalities, and not enough discussion of light, sound or noise.
