I had high hopes for this book, since it was sort of the illigitimate sequel to 80 Days, but I guess they were just too high. This book is okay to read if you want some mind filling nonsense to keep you busy. There is some hints of a plot, but nothing really goes anywhere. Part of me wishes that Harry Fogg had lost the race. That would have made it exciting.

Go on an exciting adventure in a steam-powered motorcar. It's 1891 and Harry Fogg has 100 days to circumnavigate the globe in his car "The Flash". Filled with colourful places and astonishing sabotage.
Join them in their race against the calendar. Highly recommended by this BPL staffer, for grades 5 and up. (vm).
