Interesting story, poorly written, needed much better editing.

Good book, hard going at times. Really felt for her when she was describing the cold she grew up in.
All in all I enjoyed it and the book helped me understand her a little better and I was able to cut her some slack!!
Can't get over how she was so quick to forgive some people that caused such hurt in her life, but that makes a better person for it....

Very interesting book. Hard to believe everything she has been through when you look at her now. Easy to read and quite enjoyable.

I admire Shania Twain's willingness to be open about her life and herself, even if I haven't always appreciated her music nor her ex-husband's contributions to the music world.

I'm surprised by PaganPride's oh so knowing comment. They already knew the intimate details of Twain's life before it came to print?

Anyway, a good book to read and to learn from - her perspectives on childhood, the relative poverty she grew up in and of learning of her being betrayed by a friend and her own husband.

Was ok, but nothing I didn't already know

Like the book. A little disapointed she chose to use American spelling though.

A very enjoyable book although I think it could have been a bit shorter. It was hard going at times.

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce livre. Shania n'a pas peur de divulguer certains secrets de son passé, un passé difficile.

Excellent memoir. Very open and honest. Highly recommened.

What an excellent read, from the beginning to the end. Would highly recommend reading her biography.
