this book is great. I loved it. I never thought that the ghost was going to turn out like that but i had the feeling that the ghost wasn't just going to be nice.

I always forget how much I love graphic novels until I read another one. I really enjoy and appreciate the way the art and the words create the whole story. I am in awe of such amazing talent. Anya's Ghost was the perfect mix of supernatural and realistic high school life. I feel like any girl (or boy) can relate to Anya through her tribulations in family life and in school and feeling different. Though her identity might not be the same as mine I definitely felt a kindred spirit. The supernatural element of Anya bringing a ghost home with her sparked just the right amount of spooky plot. Through Emily's actions and her own, Anya is able to work through some road blocks and learn a few things about herself. A perfect read for almost everyone but especially teens! The only problem is that I want more!

i can compared my life to anya..because i know how it feels not to fit in high school ;]

Anya’s story is for everyone who has ever felt like an outsider and wished to be just like everyone else. She struggles with her identity as a Russian immigrant, worries about her weight, and feels as if she has no friends. When Anya falls down a well, she meets a ghost whom she unwittingly brings home when she is rescued. THIS BOOK IS TO GEEEKY

It's a pretty good book, read it in one sitting of about a half hour.

Spooky in a fun and believable way. Although the drawing style will appeal for children, I wouldn't recommend it for young readers. It addresses some pretty heavy concepts.

this is a very funny book much like me because i amuse people and make people laugh alot

anya is a funny girl who reminds me a lot of my self. in the story when she is walking she notices a whole in the ground and she looks in and finds a corspe ... she accidentally falls in and tries to scream for help... staying there for a few hours a voice starts talking to her as she looks its the ghost of a dead girl. eagered to get out of that whole the ghost puts a piece of the corspe in anjas poket so that when she gets out of the whole she goes with her everywhere she goes because she cant be away from her body ... later in the story some weird things happen. causing anja to want to abandon the ghost girl... then a dark secret hauntes them both when she realizes the ghost girl was the one who killed her parents ..... i recommend this book to anyone who loves thriller and action-packed books ... this is a book that you would want to read over and over again :)
