Between sci-fi and thriller; intelligently done, and Cooper, perfectly cast.

Decent movie in many respects. Story is well conceived and thought out. Contains plot twists, drama, suspense. Bradley Cooper is kind of actor who is attractive to women, but cool & funny enough for guys to watch in a movie. DeNiro delivers his standard, very effective job. Enjoyable.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this thrilling action-drama. I knew very little, but I had heard Bradley Cooper's performance was highly praised. And I was very pleased. LIMITLESS was exciting, not exactly Oscar gold but certainly not an immemorable time-waster. LIMITLESS is about a man who has so much potential but it's buried deep. When an acquaintance from his first marriage reappears in his life, offering him a pill to be the best possible person he can be, the offer is too good to be true. Suddenly, he's stacked higher than he could ever imagine, capable of recalling every bit of info he should've long forgotten. He becomes a superman of sorts. But all is not as it seems. And with an impressive visual style that makes LIMITLESS accessible to the imaginations of its viewers, I was glued to the edge of my seat. Very much like getting to a theme park attraction inexplicably without a line, LIMITLESS may have flew under the radar but I genuinely enjoyed this entertaining thrill ride. Of course, I recommend it.

Great sci-fi premise !
But (I felt) it was not fully realized in the telling.
Still, worth it for thoughtful entertainment and stacatto action.
There is heavy use of voice-over,.. which negatively affects the flow of the story.

Story in which an ordinary man stumbles upon a pill which greatly increases his intelligence and talents. His first thought is to amass as much money as possible, murdering several people who get in his way. Happy, cheerful ending.

Amazing movie! My favorite actor is Bradley Cooper so it was pretty much a given that I would love this movie but It was even better than I expected!! I loved it! He was great in this. Robert De Niro had a small role but he was good also. As soon as I was done watching the movie I wanted to start it all over again.

Not for younger kids! Main character is suspected of murdering a woman he had sex with, a character is blinded, and two other characters are murdered in a public park.

A down and out writer runs into an old acquaintance who, feeling sorry for him, gives him a pill that grants access to 100% of the brain instead of the 20% most of us are limited to. Realizing he can make large sums of money before the drug’s potent effects wear off, addiction quickly takes hold. Soon alarming side effects begin to appear, as do thugs out to kill him and his life sustaining supply starts to dwindle. Not bad; keeps your interest to the end.
