Very well done. Gyllenhaal really engaged the viewer as the tortured protagonist 'living' in a repetitive Hell. While Monaghan is an attractive woman, I found her irritating at times. Good story, though.

Way too many holes in this movie. An interesting premise though. Give this movie a pass unless you are a big sci-fi person interested in "alternate universes\another dimension."

It's Groundhog Day all over...Oh I should watch that movie again. It's been a long, long time. Well, if you enjoyed GD and have enjoyed thinking about GD then you'll enjoy this scifi update.

Ha, I ordered this one, for my Mom, (she has had a note on her counter for over a year, to watch for it to come to the theatre!) When we sat down to watch it, I read the back and expressed my concern as it said it was "a mind-bending thriller." She didn't think that my comment was very funny. Well, at the end, I admitted to her, that my mind was a little bent after watching it. Anyway, not a bad movie, even if you do end up just a little confused at the end. (and it was nice to spend the time together....she's 82, so we never know how many evenings like that, that we have left together!)

Apart from scientific plausibility, this is an excellent sci-fi thriller by director Duncan Jones, who also did 'Moon'. Great acting by the four key actors, together with an intelligent plot, glues you to your seat.

Best time travel thriller ever !! ( Ignore the 'spoiler' from xt002737 !! Why give it 5 stars, and then detract form the pleasure of future viewers !?? ... in order to sound intelligent ?)

Dr. Rutledge: You know, many soldiers would find this preferable to death. The opportunity to continue serving their country.
Colter Stevens: Have you... have you spent much time in battle, sir? Huh?
Dr. Rutledge: That's immaterial.
Colter Stevens: Any soldier I've ever served with would say that one death is service enough.
