Another solid Doris Day romantic comedy marred only by the patriarchal ending that ruins a potentially forward-thinking feminist message. Still, this is full of many great scenes, the truckloads of foam scene alone is almost Herzogian with its imagery.

A wonderful Doris Day comedy from the 1960s with James Garner in the male lead. Not for everyone but this is definitely suitable for the whole family.

This is a very dumb, contrived and, generally, unfunny movie "Sit-Com" from 1963.... This naive suburban/family-life story tries way too hard to be equally cute and sophisticated both at the same time and with that it falls flat on its face, big time.... Actress Doris Day is particularly annoying as the suburban housewife who gets her 15 minutes of fame when she becomes the national advertising spokeswoman for "Happy Soap" products.
