I was terribly disappointed by this book, to me not a whole ot happened. It felt like Hobb needed to get this book released because it had been two years. Much of what was accomplished in these 334 pages would have taken a third of that in either of the previous two books in this series. Hopefully the next one in this series is a little better....Overall, the series is better than averave.

Warning! This book is not the conclusion of the Rain Wilds series. There will be at least one more. New characters are introduced. The stage is set for a grand finale. As ever Hobbs provides interesting characters who are often not all good or all bad. Elsingra is awakened. A dragon flies. Love blossoms.
