I've Got your Number
Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry her ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her "happily ever after" begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring in a hotel fire drill but in the panic that follows, her phone is stolen. As she paces shakily around the lobby, she spots an abandoned phone in a trash can. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect! Well, perfect except that the phone's owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesn't agree. He wants his phone back and doesn't appreciate Poppy reading his messages and wading into his personal life. What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other's lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents, she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.

From Library Staff

Poppy gets her hands on corporate executive Sam's cellphone, and apalled by his texts and emails, decides to take matters into her own hands. Like the Undomestic Goddess (but not all of Kinsella's titles) any skepticism about the outlandish premise soon gives way to laughter.

Had to return it without listening to all of it because the voice actor was so terrible. Terrible acting and a terrible voice for voice acting! She literally sounded like she was reading the book aloud...very wooden!

Hilarious. I found myself laughing out loud in the car more than a few times. Definitely recommend for a fun read.

A good light heated read. Will be checking out more by this author.

A fun, light-hearted tale of opposites attract. Although the likelihood of a fortune 500 hundred company exec allowing a lay person to impact his business is highly unlikely, most of the elements of the story seem believable. Just when Poppy was on the verge of working my nerves, she displayed an endearing quality that made me love her as a main character, which is probably how the author designed it to make the ultimate love that develops ring true. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

Ridiculously silly, but also addicitve! Fun to listen to the English accents-- might have been even better with a male & female reader, but the narrator did a good job.

The narrator perfectly matches the character.

Completely silly book, but I must say I enjoyed it. Might have been Jayne Entwistle's narration...I catch myself trying to talk like her.
All about 'texting', which I swear I will never do. Especially when the texters are standing next to one another: but somehow it worked.

The book is simple and delightful. The reader on the audiobook performs it exceptionally. Listen to it.
