A really great read and one that makes you think about mind over matter. Middle-schooler, Connor O'Malley, copes with his Mother's terminal illness, bullying at school and his relationship with his Grandmother and absentee Father. Psychology and fantasy become one as Connor works through the problems in his life. A short book on compact disc with an excellent reader. Some mature themes here, so best for teens.

An interesting story about a middle-school-aged boy coping with his mother's terminal illness, dealing with both internal and external battles. Both psychological and emotional. I really enjoyed the author interview at the end of the audiobook!
