i am the typer of reader that enjoys a much faster pace for a story.

This book, unlike Brandon Sanderson's other series (steelheart, mistborn) is much much slower.

The story does not really become interesting until the last 10 chapters of the book. (there are more than 70 chapters in total)

The first 15 chapters will be very confusing as there are many characters, however you will get used to it.

If you like world building, you will like it. If you prefer a fast paced book, this is not it

This is a fantastic book. This is epic fantasy done right. It has a complex, original world, interesting characters, a unique magic system, and a plot that zooms off in unexpected directions. Just what you'd expect from Sanderson! I cannot wait to read the next book!
