I loved this book because it was one of those books whee you could solve the mystery with the character and not put the book down until the end.

it was an interesting story, i quite liked it, full of mystery and puzzles, good book.

I really enjoyed this book. I found it a fun, entertaining and interesting read. I would definitely recommend this book to others. Its a really good adventure. The plot is original, the characters are vivid and easy to imagine and the whole concept of the book is amazing.

What a fun book! It has a nice mix of basic kid problems (annoying neighbors), adventure, and a dash of magic. Worked well as a read-aloud.

This book is about a boy who is different from everyone else. He is short, and his initials spell S. Horten. His unusual tallness plays an important role in his adventures when he moves to Beeton his fathers home town.His adventure starts when his father talks to him about the remnant memories he had of Great-Uncle Tony which makes Stuart curious when he finds out that Great-Uncle Tony disappeared to find his missing wife from one of his inventions. Halfway along this journey he develops three new companions, a blind one, a bossy,and confident one, and a seeing eyed dog. Along this journey you find many plot twisting events and clues to solving what happened to Great-Uncle Tony
