While Cat's astronaut mother circles the globe, Cat has to move halfway across the country to live with her dad and his new family. She has to share a room with her stepsister, Olivia, who goes out of her way to make life miserable for Cat at school and at home. When Cat's Great-Aunt Abyssinia comes to visit, Cat tells her everything in hopes that her aunt can do something to improve the situation. Fat chance! Things take a very strange turn as Olivia and Cat become the subjects of a media 'feeding-frenzy' and their little stepbrother, Geoffrey, is kidnapped. Can the two girls work together to save Geoffrey?
