Confession: I have no children and I got this book as a "light read" so that I didnt have to think too much about anything. I REALLY ENJOYED IT! I am starting out a business myself and liked how entrepreneurial this book was! Great information for younger children on how to handle conflict (NOT by created a lemonade war) with a sibling, and how to do well in business.

Great middle grades realistic fiction, perfect for summer reading. As some others have commented, the author leaves some loose ends at the conclusion of the book, but she ties them up neatly in the sequel, "The Lemonade Crime" and continues Evan's and Jesse's story through three more highly enjoyable books in what came to be known as "The Lemonade War Series."

It was such a good book. It totally is a book form of how it is with my brother, we are fighting over stupid things and then we just make up. It was much shorter than other books I read but it was still a pretty good little book.
