A fascinating story with great photography make this 5 stars, even though as filmmaking it is second rate. Otherwise EVERYONE would 5 star this. It will certainly make you appreciate David Attenborough and the BBC all the more. But you are going to love Oscar the baby chimp and the unique way he solves his truly desperate survival problem.

Bravo to the Blu-ray disc included which I'll give 5 stars. Visually stunning, though as a film not quite up to the standards of Disney's True Life advenures, it's probably as close as you'll get these days.

I like the movie but it is very sad because the baby chimpanzee is separated from it's family.

My son adored this movie. Usually he's not that interested with real animal type films, but this gets right to the heart and it's so fun even a young child will want to watch it!
